Many gathered in Pounta last Friday at 18:30 for the annual swimming from Paros to Antiparos. Amongst them, we found Arokaria’s fittest swimmers, Kostas and Michalis who took up the challenge.

It was a great afternoon with practically no wind at all. After about half an hour the swimmers started arriving at Antiparos, where they were cheered by the crowd and offered watermelon by the organizers.

NOTES

Swimming from Paros to Antiparos takes place every year, the first weekend of July (if the weather allows so).
