Paros on a motorbike

Around the Island

the happiest bikes on Paros

Today we met up with Tzortzis from Happy Bikes and he told us all we need to know when it comes to discovering Paros on a motorbike.

Getting around Paros by bike is easy, since its morphology and roads make it one of the most accesible and bike friendly islands. However, when it comes to renting a motorbike there are certain factors that should be taken into consideration.

Safety first! The cheapest is not always the best alternative. Sometimes it’s better to spend a bit more in order to rent a proper bike, new and in good condition with good tires and brakes for safe rides. Keep also in mind that a 50 cc bike isn’t adequate for two people.

Paros is a popular destination in summer and its roads can get quite busy! So remember to drive carefully and with consideration for others! Always wear your helmet. Bike rentals should provide you with helmets.

Good news is that there is no need to worry about finding a gas station. There are plenty of them around the island so, no matter where you are, there should be a gas station nearby. However, it is always better to fill it up during the day since at night most gas stations are shut!

So ride your bike safely and to put it in Tzortzi’s words “Have fun and enjoy!”
